What I always do is look on Expedia or Travelocity or one of those websites, and then I find the best/cheapest flight, then I go to that airline's website, select the same flights, and get the same price. And it's even better to go directly through the airline because most of those other websites charge a $5 (or higher) "booking fee" that the airlines don't charge. I went around that time last year. It was still $400 for both of us to fly to LA so we spent about $1200/person and that was the absolute cheapest airline we found. My wife and I have gone on Domestic Vacations and have found that some airlines have deals with Hotels for a nice discount when booked together. So I would check at the Hotel you want to stay at and see if they offer any such packages. Good Luck and Congrats.
